Every year since 2005 members of the DMQG have quilted 36-inch square quilts. Designed by the makers they range in style from the simple-and-traditional to wild-and-zany.
These quilts are hung in the windows of shops and stores in town. Tourists are provided with a map so they can go on a "Quilt Trail" and find each and every one.
Closeups of  all the quilts in the collection can be viewed at
YardSquareQuilts.com.

On September 2nd, the Saturday before Labor Day, they are auctioned off for the benefit of a community organization. This year the funds made from the sale will go to the Homeless Coalition.
